Japanese Internet Web Browsing with Linux

Many browsers including Netscape, Mosaic, and Lynx can be used with Linux to display Japanese. The English version of Netscape can be used to read Japanese.

Mosaic and Netscape have problems displaying Japanese in forms and inputing Japanese in general. Mule can be used to input Japanese when needed. This would be especially convenient for a Japanese search engine with a forms interface.

Netscape can be modified to display Japanese in the forms buttons and to allow cut and paste input of Japanese.
