“OpenBlockS 600 - an embedded Linux server made in Japan”

Martin Killmann and Daisuke Uraki from Plat'Home, Japan's first Linux company, will introduce their latest embedded Linux server. The OpenBlockS 600 is a robust machine for network monitoring and many other server tasks.

“Programming Language Survey: Haskell” By Travis Cardwell

People are starting to say that functional programming is the “next paradigm shift” for mainstream programming, and Haskell is getting a lot of attention. Travis Cardwell will present a survey of Haskell, giving attendees an idea of what the language is like and pointing the way for those who decide that they would like to learn more.
