Technical Meeting
NOTE: Sun Japan is now part of Oracle Japan. The sign at the elevators in the Yoga SBS building will say Oracle Corporation – not Sun Microsystems. However, the logo at the top of the building outside still says Sun Microsystems.
Summary
An open meeting given over to discussing the group’s direction rather than a single presentation. Members discussed broadening the range of session formats beyond full-length talks to include lightning talks and tutorials, and floated giving different months over to different formats, on the view that shorter slots would draw more people into presenting.
